Welcome to the Swimsuit Sorority. I want you to think about the moments in your life when you are the most vulnerable. I know, I know. This is an uncomfortable topic, but that is why it's important.For me, walking into the summer sun in my bathing suit is an incredibly scary moment. You need to understand that I am from Irish descent. So, I basically am transparent in direct sunlight. Also, I'm tall and curvy. Most people think this sounds great, but for me, it's an open door to self-criticism.
So, I've decided that it's time to take a good long look in that mirror. And decide what it is that makes me (and you) the most afraid. Now, we are going to conquer it. Together.
The Swimsuit Sorority is a group of honest, progressive women looking to become rockstars. Not the kind with a microphone on a stage in strobe lights. But the kind of rockstars that are ready to become empowered. It doesn't matter if you are a secretary, baker, business woman, teacher, photographer, or boxer. You are a woman. You are a strong woman. And now, you are going to meet with other courageously vulnerable women and step into your (figurative) swimsuit.
Ready. Set. Go.
Our original sisterhood is located in Utah, but we welcome similar groups to meet around the world and share.
